Hours of Operation and Response Time
We operate seven days a week, year-round. Because we are often on the water during the day, phone calls may go to voicemail. Rest assured, we monitor messages daily and return calls promptly once off the river. Emails are also checked regularly, and you can usually expect a response within 24 hours. If you have a preferred contact method, let us know in your message, and we’ll follow up accordingly.

Meeting Point Locations
We select safe, convenient meeting points depending on the river and time of year. These details are always confirmed when you book and again the day before your trip. Common meeting spots include:
Rogue River
Shady Cove, TouVelle State Recreation Area, Dodge Bridge, and other established boat ramps or access points.
Klamath Basin
Williamson River access areas, Spring Creek, or the Wood River near Chiloquin.
We provide directions, parking guidance, and notes on local facilities so you feel confident arriving at the correct location. Cell service can be spotty in some areas, so we recommend reviewing directions ahead of time.

Choosing the Right Trip Package
We offer three trip formats, and you can book any of them by contacting us directly.
When you contact us, we’ll help you choose the package that fits your time frame, skill level, and target species.
Half Day Trips ($400)
Four to five hours on the water, combining instruction with opportunities to catch trout or steelhead. Great for families and beginners.
Full Day Trips ($600)
Eight or more hours, with time to cover multiple sections of river and adjust tactics throughout the day. A riverside lunch is included.
Policies You Should Know
Final policies will be provided with your booking confirmation, but here are some standard guidelines:
Cancellations: Trips canceled inside a set window may be subject to a fee. Contact us as early as possible if plans change.
Weather and Safety: The guide reserves the right to adjust start times, switch locations, or reschedule if river or weather conditions make fishing unsafe.
Catch and Release: We practice careful catch and release on all rivers unless otherwise permitted by regulations. Fish health and conservation come first.
Children: Families are welcome. Children must be accompanied by a participating adult, and life jackets are provided and encouraged.
Alcohol: For safety, alcohol consumption is discouraged while fishing.
If conditions prevent fishing, we will work with you to reschedule or suggest alternatives.
What to Bring With You
When planning your trip, keep these essentials in mind:
A valid Oregon fishing license (required for all anglers).
Polarized sunglasses for safety and spotting fish.
Weather-appropriate layered clothing to stay comfortable in changing conditions.
Sunscreen, a hat, and lip balm for sun protection.
Personal medications and any snacks or drinks you prefer.
We provide rods, reels, leaders, tippet, and flies for all trips. Waders and boots are available with advance notice. Full-day trips include lunch, while shorter trips include beverages and snacks.
Accessibility and Special Requests
We want every angler to feel comfortable on the river. If you have mobility concerns, dietary needs, or specific learning goals, let us know when you contact us. We can adjust meeting points, select boat- versus walk-wade formats, and pace instruction to suit your needs.
Some anglers request extra focus on casting, knot tying, or water reading. Others want more time on specific techniques like swinging for steelhead or sight-fishing to rainbows. By communicating your priorities early, we can tailor your trip to match.
Staying Connected After Your Trip
Booking doesn’t just end when the fishing does. We encourage clients to reach out afterward with questions about gear, techniques, or future fishing opportunities. Many anglers return year after year to fish new sections of the Rogue or to tackle the Klamath Basin under different seasonal conditions. By staying in touch, we can help you plan the perfect return trip.
